One of Vestar’s many notable development projects is the award-winning Desert Ridge Marketplace, a 1.2 million-square-foot regional entertainment, lifestyle and power center in northeast Phoenix. Desert Ridge Marketplace represents an evolution in shopping center development. The project occupies 120 acres and offers strategically integrated shopping, dining and entertainment in a festive, pedestrian oriented, village town center environment.
The District at Tustin Legacy is a 1 million square foot regional center in Tustin, California and Tempe Marketplace is a 1.3 million square foot regional center in Tempe, Arizona. Both projects have significant lifestyle and entertainment components and have changed the retail landscape in their respective communities.
Other award-winning development projects include: Long Beach Towne Center, a 1million square foot center in Long Beach, CA; College Grove Marketplace, a 650,000-square-foot, former regional mall, redevelopment project in San Diego which won unprecedented support from local residents; and the 600,000-square-foot Cerritos Towne Center.
