One of Vestar's many notable development project is the award-winning Desert Ridge Marketplace, a 1.2 million-square-foot regional entertainment, lifestyle and power center in northeast Phoenix. Desert Ridge Marketplace is unlike any other shopping center in Arizona and represents an evolution in shopping center development. The project occupies 110 acres and offers strategically integrated shopping, dining and entertainment in a festive, pedestrian oriented, village town center environment.

Currently under development are two of the largest retail developments in the western United States. The District at Tustin Legacy is a 1.1 million square foot reginal center in Tustin, California and Tempe Marketplace is a 1.3 million square foot regional center in Tempe, Arizona. Both projects will have significant lifestyle and entertainment components and will change the retail landscape in their respective communities.

Other award-winning development projects include: the Scottsdale Pavilions, a 1.2 million-square-foot power center in Scottsdale, AZ, recognized as one of the largest and finest power centers in the United States; Long Beach Towne Center, a one million-square-foot center in Long Beach, CA; College Grove Marketplace, a 650,000-square-foot, former regional mall, redevelopment project in San Diego which won unprecedented support from local residents; and the 600,000-square-foot Cerritos Towne Center, adjacent to the Center for the Performing Arts in Cerritos, CA.
